Welcome to Ritual Skin, my dream studio that came to life this summer after wanting my own space for so many years. I live here in Columbus with my husband of 24 years and our beautiful 18-year-old daughter. With our girl heading off to college soon, I knew this was the time to have a second baby, so Ritual was born. 

I’ve been in the skincare industry for quite a few years now, and it’s been fun to see myself evolve into the type of esthetician I am today. I like to say I’m one of the OGs in Columbus, but since that makes me sound ancient, I’ll add that I began my career at age 19!

When I began working as a newly licensed esthetician (fresh out of school) I had no idea how to truly care for my client’s skin.  Esthetics school in the late 90’s didn't teach you about skin health, or how systemic and connected the body is to your skin. But, with time, mistakes, lots of education, endless reading and podcasts, trial and error, and working with some of the best skincare products on the market (and some of the worst!), I’ve grown to love on my clients' skin in a way that respects it and listens to it. I do my very best to teach you how to read your skin. My goal is for you to be confident with your hands, your products, and knowing how to listen to your skin, so if you could never see me again for a treatment, you'd be set. I love educating, and when you work with me, over time, I’m able to share all the pro tips I've picked up along the way.

A few things that may set a Ritual facial apart from one you’ve had before - I’m not a chatty facialist during your treatment. I give you space to unwind and decompress from the busy world we live in (there’s a connection between low cortisol levels and healthy skin, so Ritual treatments don’t just feel heavenly, but there’s actual science behind how I work).
